@Telespalla aka fabrizio ;-)

Great m8.
Will wait for your router "test".
What i mean with your internet connection is:
do you have a passive IP or dynamic IP?is it on high priority by your ISP.(what wasnt in my case)
but after contacting the ISP they put me on higher priority and that solved the issue more or less.(no difference in pingtest.net)
If you connect with LAN cable to the router the "air"devices will not do any bad for connection, so its something else.

If i understand it right you are not the "admin"(not logged on as admin but as user?right?
if so, log on as admin and make the changes, disable the firewall just as a test and see if that will help.
Some applications like "windows mediaplayer" reserve bandwith for updates and information for the player.

Good luck and hear from you.

@Telespalla

Few reasons what i could be, do not know your quality of internet.

1.are there more then 1 pc connected to the same internet?
2.do you use wifi or such?
3.if using wifi, place the router far as possible from any electric device, mostly devices who gives problems are, wireless phones, microwaves, wireless mouse and keyboards, cellphones and other devices what use the air to travel.
4.got this issue also a while ago, jumping pings in game while test where sort of ok. "asked for a fixed IP from ISP"help out good.
5.check the LAN cables if there is any, might be a damage in them.
6.disable any auto update of windows and other applications.
7.might be a firewall issue, using any? dont use the windows build in firewall.

pfff what can i think of more.....crap, pain, my head hurts...lmao.

Hopes it help a bit, please let me know  Surprisedk:

Hi Marios  :peace:

Did you empty the cache folder in the BHD folder?
I have noticed as well that files get added to BHD after all is installed, When playing for a while.
all kind of small files, cant give example, just reinstalled my pc few days ago.
otherwise i would at least tell you the extension of it.
Those files can easily be deleted, done it 100 times without any problem.

Did you reinstall BHD, if yes, does it the same?
If you didn't, then reinstall it all, and delete the folder in program files.
That's what i always do when getting weird thingy's in BHD.

And if you use the nocd patch, maybe you can make an ISO of the bhd CD, and mount it with daemon tools, then no need for nocd patch, what ones a while can give troubles.

Hope it can help you out, with reinstall it should for sure work, if not then some thing else is wrong.
but then we know thats not BHD, so we can look further.

So for now m8y, good luck  :gogo:    you can do it....

Yo Danny  :peace:

Gr8 post, Gr8 manual, Gr8 idea !!!
Using dual and triple boot for years now, and all going swell...

Danny ur the man  Surprisedk: , push them all to Sigurd  :spank:  the hard or the soft way...lmfao.

anyway gr8 job Danny.

P.S. When making dual boot with win7 and xp, no need for EasyBCD or such.
Now running on XP performance and Win7.
Installed XP 1st, then Win7, Win7 makes own BootLoader.
So you can choose which partition to boot with.

It all sounds a lot of work, scary, or what so ever, it isnt,
When all done, we are all more happy.
You for having a smooth XP running Games only, and we that you got finally Sigurd....

Good Luck with it, any help needed? you know what todo!!!

Hi m8ys  :peace:

Noticed that some ppl having issues with the nocd patch,
I never use it, no need to, what i do is,
Make an image of the original cd of BHD, "ISO", doesn't really matter with which program.
Download and install daemon tools,
Please login to see this link
Get registered or Log in
The Daemon Tools Lite version is a free version.
mount the image of BHD, done...
no need to have cd in driver, nor nocd patch.
Just make sure that the image is mounted when u start the game.

Hope it helped some ppl out!!! Â

Hi Angel  :peace:

Got those artifacts as well, is poor graphic drivers, i think.
Does it happend every time you play BHD, or just ones a while ?
By me ones a while, think the drivers and such get a bit stuck.
After restart BHD, not even the PC it works good again,
sometimes it comes back, and even wors then your pic.
Whole landscapes turn green, buildings turn another colour, like a major X-Ray...lmao.
Or is it what i add to my coffee what make me see those colours...... Smile

Hi Dave  :peace:

Thx for reaction, will check the mem's out ltr on 2day.
About win7 issues, what I got with the 32 bit version is that he freezes after a while,
sometimes an hour sometimes 5 minutes. Mad
Not any idea what causes it, have been 2 days figuring out, untill win7 completly didnt boot normal, so thats why I wanna check the 64 bit version.
But for what, Sigurd doesnt work on it according to Conny "thx Conny  Confused ",
So for now ill stay with dual boot with XP performance edition for BHD.

Greetings and have a nice day  :Perfect:

PostForum: Technical Help   Posted: Thu Jun 25, 2009 10:59 am   Subject: Win7 x64 and BHD ???
Hi m8s   :peace:

Got a question or 2, anyone have a clue??
Just installed win7 64bit RC1, BHD runs on it that I know,
but what about Sigurd, pinger, Fraps, and TS ???
Just wanted to ask before I start installing all, and then run in to  :idiot: issues !!!

And then another question, just got a new power supply 550 watt Mustiff
and 1 module of 2 gig ddr2 667mhz.
The Mustiff works gr8, very quite, but the memory.
My MoBo supports up to 8 gig of mem, got 4 slots, 2 in use for 2 seperate 1 gig modules, and then the new one of 2 gig.
Now it comes, when I insert the new one alone, no probs.
when add 1 gig, still no prob.
when add 2nd 1 gig, BIOS wont boot.
Doesnt matter which module in which slot, tryed them all in different ways.
So 2 seperate of 1 gig works.
And 1 of 2 gig works.
And 2 gig and 1 gig works.
But 2 gig and 1 gig and 1 gig doesnt.
So I dont manage to use all 3 modules, only 3 gig is accepted, and I want all 4  Sad
MoBo is the ASUS M2A-VM-HDMI, maybe someone else ran in same probs.

Anyone has a clue what todo ???

Thx infront m8s  Surprisedk:

Smile  Laughing As i am, i try this, and to my surprise, my whole XP F(*&^%$ up. :idiot:
Dont know where something went wrong, just make a back up before,
something i didnt, so need to reinstall all again. NP at all, need a fresh install anyway.

Just be carefull with it. Where it went wrong what i think is with the "RegCure".
Luckely i got triple boot, XP Pro sp3, XP Performance 4 gaming "an advise" and windows 7.
So my work is still accessible didnt lose any....... Surprisedk:
So what is wrong is, that it takes 20 minutes to load XP again, and none of the programs are working,
all get dll errors.

So bro's and sisses, be carefull, JUST MAKE A BACK-UP BE4 !!!!!!!!
